Have just started to read your blog recently and enjoy it very much. I have never heard of potato onions before, do they sell them with this name? How small are they? We are also having a shortage of rain. I even hung clothes out hoping to make it rain!! Love to get out in the early morning as well, can understand your comment about the air.
